Mary's Place began with a simple truth: Mary Thompson never met a stranger. She loved God, she loved people, and she welcomed everyone into her home with warmth and open arms. Her son Greg Thompson, along with his wife Dr. Valisa Thompson (known to most as "Dr. V"), has carried that legacy forward by building a home where people in recovery can find the same safety, support, and belonging Mary once offered so freely.
Inspired by Mary Thompson's generous spirit, our mission is to build a compassionate community rooted in dignity, hope, and second chances. Every gift helps residents access safe housing, recovery support, and the resources they need to rebuild their lives, one day at a time.
